Teagan Burns

is an artist and art teacher based in Grand Rapids, MI, with a background in Illustration and Art Education. She spent nine months in Limpopo, South Africa, as a Peace Corps English teacher, documenting daily life through sketches. Teagan teaches art at Grand Rapids Public Schools, fostering creativity and exploration.

Her work, blending traditional and contemporary techniques, focuses on pencil, pen and ink illustration, and digital art. She collaborates with advertising agencies and small businesses, primarily on commissions. Influenced by Alphonse Mucha and Botticelli, her art features feminine figures and has been showcased in Collegiate Magazine and Lions and Rabbits social media. Teagan aims to expand her audience and participate in more competitions.
